WIND

There
are two different designs for wind turbines.
The horizontal wind turbine is more popular and uses tilted blades to
generate friction against the wind.
This causes the blades to turn. The other design for wind turbines is
the vertical design. This design
finishes with the entire structure spinning circularly after the wind causes
it to turn on a middle point on the surface.
Both designs use the wind to spin the blades that in turn spin the
generator inside. It is the complete
opposite process of a regular fan. The
turbines use mechanical energy to produce electrical energy instead of using
electricity to produce mechanical motion like a fan. |
