Purpose

The purpose of our organization is to support the Mt. Troy Volunteer Fire Company and our local community (and have a little fun, too!).

 Our main fundraisers include the Annual Good Friday Fish Fry, the Fall Craft Show, and the Spring Calendar Party/Fashion Show. 

 We support our community with an annual donation to Reserve Elementary School’s Caring Program.  We also sponsor a girls’ softball team with the Reserve Athletic Association.  Many of our members volunteer for various community functions.  Just to name a few:  Meals on Wheels, the Easter Egg Hunt, and the Halloween Parade.

 Meetings

Meetings are held on the last Tuesday of every month (except for July) in the Mt. Troy Volunteer Fire Hall Ballroom.  Meetings begin at 8:00 p.m. and usually last from 1 to 2 hours.  After regular business has been discussed, we usually have some kind of activity whether it is learning a new craft, a demonstration, a bake sale, Chinese Auction, etc., etc. Refreshments/snacks are also provided. 

Membership

To become a member, ask any current member or one of the officers for an application.   Initiation fees are $3.00 and annual dues are $2.00.  You may contact:   Janet Orr at 231-2462   or any of our officers for more details.
